1. Master's Degree Regulations
- Minimum Graduation Credits: 30 credits.
- Required Core Courses: Seminar (I), Seminar (II), Seminar (III), and Seminar (IV).
- Credit Waiver / Transfer: Students who passed master's level courses with a grade of 70 or higher prior to admission—and whose credits were not counted toward their bachelor's degree requirements—may apply via the NCKU Credit Transfer System during the official application period.
- Courses Taken Outside the Department: Students must submit the "Application Form for Credit Recognition of Graduate Courses Outside the Department" with their advisor's signature to the department office for approval before such credits can count toward graduation requirements.
2. General Education Requirements for Graduate Students
Applicability: Master's and Ph.D. students admitted in or after the 2022 academic year (111th Academic Year).
General Education Recognition Methods:
- Students who complete "Seminar (II)" and "Seminar (III)" offered by the department automatically satisfy the General Education requirements.
- Students unable to take the above two courses must complete the required graduate general education hours in accordance with university regulations. Hours from online courses on the "Taiwan Center for Research Integrity and Ethics" platform may be combined to fulfill this requirement.
