NCKU Department of Biomedical Engineering – Access Control Application Notice
To enhance campus security and strictly enforce access control, NCKU has established the "NCKU Digital Access Control Management Guidelines." The regulations regarding temporary access cards for the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) are updated as follows:
The issuance and management of all temporary access cards are now centralized and handled directly by NCKU. (The BME Department office will no longer issue temporary key fobs; however, previously issued fobs remain valid.)
1. Applicants Without NCKU Digital ID
(Non-NCKU ID Card or Student ID holders)
The NCKU Campus Police Squad now handles the issuance and management of temporary access cards. To apply:
Step 1: Complete Attachment 1 (NCKU Digital Access Control Temporary Card Application Form) and submit it to the Campus Police Squad to receive an "NCKU Temporary Card."
Step 2: Bring your NCKU Temporary Card to the BME Department office for access configuration. (You do not need to fill out Attachment 2).
Important Guidelines for Expiration Dates (Attachment 1):
Incoming Students: Set the end date to one month after the start of the semester.
(Example: If the semester starts on Sept 15, set the expiration date to Oct 15. Please use your official Student ID after this period.)
