AY 2026 Spring Semester (114-2) Degree Defense Application Guidelines
一、 重要日程彙整 Important Dates
- 系統申請期間： 即日起至 115 年 7 月 20 日 23:59 止。
System Application Period: From now until July 20, 2026, 23:59. - 口試舉行期間： 即日起至 115 年 7 月 30 日。
Defense Period: From now until July 30, 2026. - 成績繳交截止： 115 年 7 月 31 日。
Grade Submission Deadline: July 31, 2026. - 最後離校期限： 115 年 9 月 4 日。
Final Graduation/Departure Deadline: September 4, 2026.
申請時限：請務必於口試 前2-3 週 將紙本資料送至系辦，否則不予受理。若預計 7 月畢業，建議於 6/30 前完成申請。
Submission Deadline: Hard copies must be submitted to the Department Office 2–3 weeks before the defense date. Late applications will not be accepted. For July graduation, completion before June 30 is highly recommended.
博士生特別提醒：申請學位口試前，須於口試日前至少 2 個月提交畢業預審資料，並經系務會議審核通過後，始得提出口試申請；另須於論文提綱初試通過後滿 3 個月，方可進行學位口試。
Ph.D. Students: Before applying for the dissertation defense, students must submit graduation pre-review documents at least 2 months prior to the defense date. The application can only be submitted after approval by the Departmental Committee. In addition, the defense must take place at least 3 months after passing the dissertation outline preliminary exam.
二、 申請流程與應繳資料 Application Process & Required Documents
請先與指導教授確認可進行論文比對及口試，並詳閱論文比對規範及聘任口試委員規定。
Please confirm with your advisor regarding the plagiarism check and defense date. Please read the regulations regarding the appointment of committee members carefully.
- 若口試委員為業界專家(不具教師身份)者，或博士班口委非副教授以上職級者，均需填寫口委審查表單並經系務會議審查通過；如不確定請先詢問系辦。
Note: If a committee member is an industry expert (without a faculty title) or a Ph.D. committee member holds a rank below Associate Professor, a review by the Departmental Committee is required. Please consult the Department Office if unsure.
需繳交以下文件至系辦 Submit the following documents to the Department Office:
- 線上申請與紙本簽署：至學位考試網路申請作業系統填寫申請書並印出。
Online Application Form: Apply via the Postgraduate Defense Application System and print the form. - Turnitin 論文比對報告：需印出由指導教授簽名之比對百分比頁面。
Turnitin Plagiarism Report: Print the page showing the similarity percentage, signed by your advisor. - 學位口試申請同意書：請至系辦網頁下載。下載連結
Degree Defense Consent Form: Download from the department website. - 學術倫理教育修課證明。
Academic Ethics Education Certificate. - 2 吋畢業照片 1 張。
One 2-inch Graduation Photo. - 離校問卷：請完成離校問卷填寫並向系辦出示完成畫面。
Leaving Survey Completion: Present the completion screen of the survey.
※ 上述所有文件需經指導教授親簽（不可使用蓋章替代）。
※ All documents must be manually signed by the advisor (stamps/seals are not accepted).
三、 114-2 新增重要規定 New Regulations for AY 2026 (114-2)
1. 論文延後公開申請 Delayed Thesis Publication (Crucial)
- 時程：必須於口試前透過系統提出申請，並印出申請書。
Timeline: Application must be made via the system before the defense. - 程序：口試當天須提供證明文件，經所有口試委員審核並簽名。
Procedure: Supporting documents must be provided and signed by all committee members on the defense day. - 申請條件：涉及機密、專利申請（需案號）、或依法不得公開之情形。
Eligibility: Cases involving trade secrets, patent applications, or legal restrictions.
2. 邀請國際學者參與口試 Inviting International Scholars
論文審查費新臺幣 6,000 元；視訊參與者另補助手續匯費（上限 1,600 元）。需檢附學者履歷與機構簡介。報帳作業由各實驗室自行辦理，須於 115 年 12 月 31 日前完成核銷。
Remuneration: NT$6,000. For virtual participants, bank transfer fees (up to NT$1,600) are subsidised. Reimbursement must be completed by labs by December 31, 2026.
四、 經費核銷與交通費注意事項 Funding and Reimbursement Notes
- 論文審查費：碩士每位 1,000 元；博士每位 1,600 元。
Review Fees: NT$1,000 per member for Master's; NT$1,600 per member for Ph.D. - 領取方式：請受款人至「受領人基本資料平台」建檔，或提供存摺影本。
Payment Method: Register details on the university's Payee Platform or provide a passbook copy. - 交通費：以台南市為起終點。高鐵/臺鐵若非當日來回務必保留票根。
Travel Expenses: Based on Tainan City. Tickets are required for non-same-day returns.
五、 其他提醒 Additional Reminders
教室借用：請自行確認並提前登記申請。
Room Reservation: Please confirm availability and register in advance.
線上口試：如遇天災停班課或委員為國際學者得申請視訊口試。
Virtual Defense: Available for international scholars or emergency weather closures.
