To facilitate a smooth graduation process for students planning to graduate in the 113-2 semester, please reserve at least one week for the electronic thesis submission and format verification by the library. Avoid submitting during the final two weeks before the deadline to prevent delays caused by peak volume.
We strongly recommend completing the submission process by August 29, 2025 (Friday) to ensure all graduation clearance procedures can be completed by September 5, 2025 (Friday).
The NCKU Library will hold two Electronic Thesis Submission Training Sessions (including originality check system overview) on June 23 (Mon) and June 25 (Wed) in the afternoon. Graduate students are encouraged to attend one of the sessions. Please register through the Library Homepage or directly via the University Activity System.
Before uploading your thesis, please carefully follow the instructions and guidelines provided in the NCKU Thesis System (https://thesis.lib.ncku.edu.tw/). This includes checking formatting, metadata, and similarity report requirements to avoid rejections and reduce the overall review time.

[Reminder] Open Access to Graduate Theses
In accordance with Ministry of Education policy, graduate students are encouraged to authorize their theses to be made openly accessible through the National Central Library and the NCKU Library, following the principle of “Open by default, restricted only when necessary.”
Key points:
Theses should be made available for academic access unless justified exceptions apply. If an embargo is required, it should not exceed 5 years. Permanent embargoes are discouraged.
Inadequate disclosure or unjustified non-disclosure may affect departmental evaluation and may result in reduced enrollment quotas or disapproval of new programs.
Please cooperate with the policy to enhance academic communication and maintain the quality and transparency of graduate research.
